概要

図書館は知識の広範な共有や文化の発展に役立っている。一方、現在ではデジタル技術の発展に伴い様々なコンテンツのデジタル化が進んでおり、違法な複製を作られる危険が大きいという問題がある。デジタルコンテンツを貸し出す図書館は貸出人による著作権侵害を防ぎたいが、そのような手段がないのが現状である。そこで本研究では従来からある図書館の良さを引き継ぎつつ、デジタルコンテンツの著作権侵害を防止できるシステムを提案する。本システムでは、貸し出し期限内でのみデジタルコンテンツが閲覧可能になる。加えてネットワーク経由での貸し出しも可能になる。

Abstract

People have been taking advantage of libraries to share knowledge globally and develop cultures. On the other hand, today's digital technology enabled digitalization of various contents and raised the problem of illegal digital copies. The libraries that lend out digital contents want to prevent copyright violation, alghough they have no ways for prohibiting illegal copies. We propose a system that has the advantages of the conventional libraries and can prevent the violation of digital contents' copyright. This system allows browsing digital contents only in the terms. In addition, it enables lending out the contents through network.
