概要

現在，多くの店舗が，顧客に会員証を発行した上でサービスを提供するという方式をとっている．この方式には店舗・顧客双方にとって利点がある．店舗にとっては顧客を識別して利用履歴を管理したり常連客割引などのマーケティングに利用したりすることができ，また顧客にとっては店舗からのサービス品質向上を期待することができる．
そこで筆者らは，個人情報を記録したIC身分証明書を活用した会員証運用システムを提案する．このシステムによって，各種会員証は１枚のICカードに統合され，また店舗側における顧客情報の管理も容易になる．本システムで利用するIC身分証明書として，IC旅券を使う可能性についても検討する．

Abstract

Today, there are many stores issuing membership cards to their customers before providing the customers with services. This manner benefits both the stores and the customers. From the stores’ point of view, it enables recognizing each of the customers to manage their records and carry out marketing programs such as discounting. From the customers’ point of view, it can help the quality of the services get higher.
We propose a membership card operation system that takes advantage of IC ID cards memorizing the owners’ personal information. This system allows two or more membership cards of one owner to be integrated into a single IC card, and makes it easier for the stores to manage their customers’ information and records. We also discuss the possibility of using IC passports as the IC ID cards of this system.
