見えない、風。熊野に坐します神々
私はイスラム教国のイエメン共和国を長く取材撮影して来た。
敬虔なイスラム教徒と付合うと、日本人の独特な宗教観を色々と考えさせられる機会が多くあった。 私たち日本人は、信仰心が薄いと簡単に言ってきた。私もそう言われているのを聞きつつ、何の疑いも無くそうであろうと信じていた。
私は五十を前にして家系の出身地である、紀伊山地の奥を熊野方面に歩いた。未来に向かって生きて来た者が、有る年齢になると今度は過去に帰ろうとするようだ。私はその事に気づかず、歩き出したのだ。
ここ熊野地方の山間部を歩くと、多くの自然を祀った所が有ることに気がついた。
それらは、山深い所なので雨や風の影響を大きく受ける場所であるが、人の気配が感じられる自然崇拝の地であったのだ。
それは苔むした大きな磐であり、巨木であり自然の生命力を感じさせられる所であった。
この地の人々はあつい信仰心をもって神々を祀っていたのである。
ここは人間と自然との見えない結界の入り口であったのかもしれない。そこを吹く風はいつも爽やかで気持ちのよいものであった。これらの場所も今は人の気配があるが、過疎と高齢化で段々と消えて行くのであろう。しかし、これらの神々の坐は何も変わらず、そのままの自然の姿に戻るだけなのだろう。
最後になりましたが、2011年9月の台風１２号では熊野地域では大変大きな被害が出ました。被災された皆様に、謹んでお見舞い申し上げます。
I took pictures of Islamic Yemen republic long, and came.
When I met for the eager Muslim, there were many opportunities which it let me think various unique Japanese religion about.
I also hearing saying so, there is also no doubt of what and it was believed that that was probably right.We Japanese have said easily that religious devotion is little.
I believed that it was probably so without any doubt with me hearing that saying so, too.
I began to walk around in Kii Mountains, the hometown of my family line, before becoming 50 years old.
The person who went in the future and who lived,when it becomes the age which it has, it seems to try to come back in the past next time.
I didn't notice that, and began to walk.
I noticed that there was a place to deify much nature when it walked in the place among the mountains of this Kumano area.
Because they were the places where be deep mountain, the place Is equal to which took rain and the influence of the wind greatly was in the ground of the natural worship which it can feel a person's sign with.
That was the big rock which moss, and it was a big tree, and it was about to let me feel the vital force of the nature.
As for the people of this ground, it is an Is equal to in the eager religious devotion View as well to deify gods.
This might be the entrance of world which can't be seen with the human being with the nature.
The wind which blew through that was always refreshing and pleasant.
Though a person's sign is in these places as well now, it is disappearing gradually with the depopulation and the aging.
But, these gods' and goddesses' what places are unchanged, too, and it is only returned to the natural figure as it is.

Forest of Nature worship 自然崇拝の森
超高画素デジタルバックでの撮影
2011年と今回の2017年の『Forest of Nature worship』展では、自然崇拝の地の磐座をあるがままに撮影する為に、PHASEONE社の超高画素デジタルバック、1億画素のIQ3-100MP、6,000万画素のP65＋と3,900万画素のP45+を使用し、広角カメラのホースマンSWD-Ⅱと、Rodenstock HR Digaron-S 23mm F5.6、Schneider APO-DIGITAR 24mm F5.6 XLの超広角レンズの組み合わせをメインで使いました。
その他焦点距離ではHasselblad H-1/2 とHCレンズシステムを使用。
苔むした磐座、巨石、御神木、取り巻く木々、岩々。それらの質感を写し込んできました。
35DSLRでは写らない、中判デジタルの写りと16ビットの色深度を、で写し止めてます。
A-1ノビサイズの大型プリント、ハーレミューレ紙ジャーマンエッジの質感、奥行き感の有る写真は、写真展会場でしかご覧頂けません。

日本の海岸線をゆくのメインビジュアルに採用
2016年の公益社団法人日本写真家協会65周年事業写真展『日本の海岸線をゆく－日本人と海の文化』』のメインビジュアルに、私の写真三重県尾鷲市九鬼で撮影した「九鬼の送り火」の写真が採用されました。東京芸術劇場、京都市美術館、ニュースパーク（日本新聞博物館）２階企画展示室と、トンガ展を巡回致しました。ご高覧頂きましてありがとうございました。
平凡社から発売されてます、写真集『日本の海岸線をゆく』では、裏表紙に採用されております。書店で手に取って頂ければ幸いです。
この作品の使用撮影機材は、Hasselblad H-2 / P65+ / HC35mmF3.5 です。
熊野のお祭り写真
熊野地方の祭りの取材もしており、磐座信仰の祭礼を中心に、漁師町の海の祭りも撮影しております。
ここにあげている写真は、今年の元旦の船上神楽の写真です。
こちらは整理が付き次第、公開して行きます。
数人の小さい窟の祀っている神社から、大きい所迄色々と巡っております。
大きい所では、那智の火祭り、熊野花の窟神社、二木島祭り、古座河内祭り他。
これらの写真は、機動性が必要ですので、DSLR系のカメラをメインに使用しておりますが、一部フェーズワンでも撮影しております。
